Main use:
DMF is an important chemical raw material and excellent solvent with wide application scope. DMF is the good solvent of various polymers such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc. Can be used in wet spinning and polyurethane synthesis of polyacrylonitrile and other synthetic fibers. Used in plastic film and as paint remover. It can dissolve some low solubility pigments. DMF is used in aromatic hydrocarbon extraction and as an effective reagent to separate non-hydrocarbon component from paraffin. It has good selectivity in the solubility of IPA and terephthalic acid. In petrochemical industry, it can be used as gas absorber to separate and refine gas. In organic reactions, DMF has not only wide application range as reaction solvent, but also an important organic synthesis intermediate. It is widely used in pesticide and pharmaceutical industry. DMF has catalytic function in hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, dehydration and dehydrohalogenation reactions to reduce reaction temperature and improve product purity.
